PAYMENT

  • All private medical plans will cover physiotherapy treatment at Greenwood Physiotherapy. There are a number of different plans available, many cover 100% and others cover 80%, check your plans for details or call us and ask.
  • We can direct bill many plans, ask us for details.
  • Workers' Compensation patients generally seen within 48 hours.
  • Motor vehicle accident injuries, with approval, are covered under section B of their automobile insurance.
  • DVA patients, with approval, are covered for pensionable injuries.
  • Please feel welcome to phone or drop in to ask any questions about the coverage of your medical insurance plan.

WHAT DOES PHYSIOTHERAPY INVOLVE?

On your first visit you will be given a thorough examination, assessment and treatment.

Treatment, in consultation with the patient, may involve electrical stimulation, acupuncture, manual therapy techniques, soft tissue stretches and an exercise program.

Patients are given an individually tailored home exercise program to treat the condition and prevent recurrence.
